PREDICTION FOR Real Madrid – Villarreal:
– Villarreal win 1.89
Last year they won both the Primera División and the Champions League. This year’s Real Madrid is a completely different five, in less positive sense. What has happened?
You can point out a variety of factors. One of the biggest: the offensive impotence. Neither Cristiano Ronaldo nor Karim Benzema have been close to last year’s season and Gareth Bale has also been wounded with major injury concerns. But just pointing out the offensive as the problem does not show the whole picture of course.
However, Real Madrid is now only four in the Primera División. There is some pressure from below and the title is even impossible when Barcelona has a score of 16 points, albeit with a match more played.
Villarreal has delivered more to the level you could wait for the year to come; up in the European area, but a good bit from the absolute peak. Sexa are they placed as currently, ie a Europa League site, but there are several competitors below who know them. Relax, you can not – and the goal is of course to reach even higher heights in the table.
Easy to wait
Víctor Ruiz left off as well as some damages beside it. It is clear that the conditions could have been something better for Villarreal in that sense, but the ability to make a match of this story is there.
This much because of Real Madrid’s problems, which have been apparent already from the season’s upturn. Last they were on the move, in La Liga, they lost the two points in the away game against Celta Vigo. 2-2 on the board.
Gareth Bale stood for Real’s two balls there and he has been a fresh fan since the comeback, but it is clear that the lack of playing time and the damage has made his mark. Now Karim Benzema is missing, so the options are significantly reduced.
Villarreal is a tough opponent, regardless of home team advantage or not. As little as a goal is captured on the last three matches in Primera División, and in that row, among other things, 1-0 wins are found over Celta Vigo and Valencia.
Looking back a bit, Real Madrid has only won one of the last nine meetings with numbers greater than two goals. It’s another factor that causes us to raise our eyebrows for the brutal odds set out in the Headshot team.
